Q: Are all of the items listed for sale on your website brand new in the box?
Yes, 99% of all the items listed for sale on our website are brand new in factory sealed packaging, unless otherwise noted in the product description. In certain situations of either high-value items or those that are known to be particularly fragile, we may elect to open and inspect a product before shipping it out to a customer. But almost without exception when you receive an item from us you know you will be the first person to ever display it.
Q: If I wish to purchase a Pre-Order item from you will my credit card be charged when I checkout?
No, your credit card or PayPal account will not be charged until the item is in stock and ready to ship to you. However, the Yahoo E-Commerce shopping cart that we utilize does place a "TEMPORARY AUTHORIZATION" on your credit card, debit card or PayPal account for the full amount of the purchase at the time you place your order. This authorization is designed to ensure that the method of payment being used is valid and that there are enough available funds in which to place the order. Temporary authorizations for credit cards will expire within a few days. PayPal authorizations will expire after 30 days. For this reason we suggest that you place separate orders for In Stock and Pre-Order items.
DEBIT CARD CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: The temporary authorization may affect the available balance of your account until it expires a few days later. The timing is determined by your bank and Cozmic Toyz has no control over that process, but we will only charge your card or PayPal account for items that are in stock and available to ship.
Q: Does placing a Pre-Order through your website guarantee that I will receive the item?
We do our very best to ensure that we only take orders for as many units as we are expecting to receive from the manufacturer. However, if a manufacturer allocates us less units than what we requested then it may be necessary to cancel an order or order(s) for a particular item. This is very rare though, but if for any reason we need to cancel an order we will notify you by phone or email as soon as possible.

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & Diner's Club. We also accept PayPal.
Q: What shipping options do you offer? Do you ship internationally and what is the cost to ship an item(s)?
All shipping rates are calculated at checkout based upon the total weight of your order and the shipping method you select. You are able to view the estimated shipping charges before you submit the order and before your credit card or PayPal account are charged. Shipping costs are considered estimates, but only rarely do they ever need to be adjusted, except in the case of over-sized or exceptionally heavy-weighted items. If there are any changes that need to be made to the shipping charges they will be communicated to and approved by you prior to billing your credit card or PayPal account.

The US Postal Service will only allow us to purchase shipping insurance up to the declared value of the item(s). Therefore it is our policy that all international packages are insured and declared for the exact amount of the purchase price. While we understand and sympathize with the high cost of import duties and taxes, we feel it is important to protect both the buyer and seller against any potential loss or damage that may result during transit.
-Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. WE DO NOT MARK ITEMS AS "GIFT" OR DECLARE LOWER VALUES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
-Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
-These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.
Q: When will my order be shipped?
All orders for in stock products will be shipped within 1-3 business days from when we receive cleared payment. Pre-Order items will ship once they are received into inventory and we receive cleared payment.
Q: Can I return an item for a refund?
You may return or exchange any UNOPENED toy or collectible item purchased from us, provided we are notified of your intention to do so within 5 days of the item being delivered to you. The item being returned must be received back in our office within 10 business days from the original date of delivery to you and be shipped to us using a trackable service such as UPS, FedEx, or the US Postal Service.
We DO NOT accept returns or exchanges on any opened toys or collectibles unless the item arrives damaged.
Q: What if I receive a damaged or defective item?
If an item arrives to you damaged or defective please notify us with 48 hours of receipt and we will arrange to have the item exchanged or a refund issued (if a replacement unit is not available). Please keep the original shipping box as our carrier may need this as evidence for the insurance claim.
NOTE: We will not issue a replacement or refund if the item being returned to us shows any signs of wear, use, intentional damage, or modification.
Q: How do I check the status of my order?
Any change to your order status will be communicated via email and you can always access your order status by clicking your individual order link provided in your confirmation email.
Q: Do you charge Sales Tax?
We are required by law to collect Florida State Sales. All shipments within the state of Florida will be charged 6.5% sales tax.
